  1. As we go through the journey of our life we are often hurt by the things others do.  Being hurt is part of being human.  However what we want to do is to make sure that the hurt we experienced does not stay with us.  If it does then resentment can build up inside us and we cannot seem to let it go.  Very often that resentment shows itself in other ways such as chronic pain or other illness.  Most of us never make the link between resentment and anger to the physical symptoms we have in our body.

That was my main reason for writing this blog to convey how important it is to forgive the person who hurt you.  I know you will think that is impossible and I want you to look at it from a different perspective.  The reason for forgiving is to help you get your power back.  You have given your power away by continuing to resent the person who hurt you.  By forgiving them it is not condoning what they have done or letting them off the hook.  Very simply it is setting you free!

I am not going to pretend forgiving is easy and it may take you a little time to get there but it is absolutely possible.  It may surprise you to know that forgiveness may be a big contributor to releasing your physical pain.
